Seeking to Know Christ and Make Christ Known

Meetings

Youth Meeting (Alternate Sunday Evenings)  A group of young people in Year 10 upwards who meet together to discuss the subjects that affect their everyday lives.  Through discussion and prayer they not only look for their own answers but help each other to discover their life's path with the Lord.

Reach Up!! Club   (Tuesday 18:00 to 19:00 for Reception to Year 6)   A weekday Bible based club, running during term time, for primary aged children to come and enjoy activities of all sorts. Craft, singing, stories, games and films will feature in the programmes around the Christian teaching and values.

Ladies Bible Study  (Wednesday 10:15 to 11:30)  Here a group of Ladies (men are not excluded) meet to learn more about the Bible.  All ages are welcome, and we have young mothers in their twenties to great grandparents in their late eighties.  The subjects studied range from single books or people of the Bible to The Role of Angels and other such areas.

Wednesday Hour (Wednesday 14:00 to 15:30)  Are you 60 ?  Do you enjoy the company of others your own age?  This is a lively group who spend time together learning from visiting speakers and from each other and generally enjoying themselves.  It is not a time to convert people but a time to show God's love to those who are in their later years.  There is a epilogue where prayers are said for those who are ill or need God's hand in their life.  This was requested by the members

Youth Social Evening  (Wednesday 19:30 to 21:00)  A meeting where the youth of the church and the youth of the town can meet together to play snooker, pool, make food, eat food, eat more food and if they want eat some more.  It is a time when churched and non-churched youth can mix and find areas where there is common ground and where the youth of the church can show hat church is not boring

Mums And Tots  (Thursday 09:30 to 11:00) The aim is to provide a warm inviting place, conducive to building relationships.  Being a parent is an important job, and carers need  to have somewhere to take children, where they can mix with others of their own age to learn social skills, in a safe environment.  We believe that Jesus is present with us every Thursday and that, through us, He can minister to the mums.  We are not overtly there to convert but we are openly there loving Jesus, being loved by Him and sharing Him with the mums.  God is good - all the time.  We believe that Jesus will, and is, changing the lives of the people we meet.  What is important is that this work is seen as God's work not our work.
